Privacy Policy

• Account information — your name, email, phone number, preferred language, and (optionally) a profile photo.
• Giving records — donation amounts, dates, and method. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe and e-transfers through Interac; we do not store full card numbers.
• Church participation — your home cell, ministries, event RSVPs, attendance, and any prayer or pastoral requests you choose to submit.
• Children's information — Sunday School / child check-in details are collected with parental consent and used only for child safety.

• To provide church communications and notifications you have opted into.
• To offer pastoral care and follow-up.
• To issue charitable tax receipts, as required by the Canada Revenue Agency.
• To improve our ministries, services, and the app experience.

Your information is accessible only to authorized ERC staff and leaders, on a need-to-know basis — for example, your cell leader sees your cell's attendance, pastors see pastoral requests assigned to them, and the finance team sees giving records to issue receipts. We never sell or rent your information to third parties.

Card payments are handled by Stripe and e-transfers by Interac, both industry-standard providers. We do not store your full card details on our systems.

You may request a copy of your information, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@ercfamily.ca. Please note that giving records may be retained for the period required by Canadian charity and tax law.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent changes.
